Hi, I'm Jules!
Welcome to my little corner of the internet 🤍
I'm a Business Administration graduate with a concentration in Marketing, a military spouse, a dog mom to Kevin, a creative, a lifelong learner, and someone who genuinely believes that life is meant to be both intentional and enjoyed.
I've always been someone who loves having a plan, keeping things organized, and making sure the details don't fall through the cracks. But I've also learned that the best parts of life aren't always the things you can plan. Some of my favorite moments are slow mornings, trying a new recipe, getting outside for a run, discovering somewhere new, getting lost in a good book, or simply spending quality time with the people I love.
That's really what Simply Life with Jules is all about. Finding that balance between creating a life that feels organized and purposeful while still leaving room for spontaneity, joy, growth, and the everyday moments that make life special.
The Person Behind Simply Life with Jules
My background is in business and marketing, and throughout my career I've worked across sales, business development, operations, and client engagement.
While my job titles have changed, I've noticed a common thread in almost everything I've done: I love making things work.
I love organizing projects, creating systems, solving problems, managing multiple priorities, learning new tools, and helping people feel supported. I'm naturally detail-oriented and proactive, and I genuinely enjoy being the person behind the scenes who keeps everything moving.
I've learned that I also really enjoy wearing multiple hats. Give me something I've never done before and I'll probably figure it out. Whether it's learning new software, coordinating a project, editing a podcast, creating a presentation, supporting a client, or figuring out how to make a process more efficient, I love the challenge of learning as I go.
And while my professional experience has taught me a lot about business, it's also taught me a lot about myself, especially the importance of communication, adaptability, trust, and knowing when to ask for help.
Those lessons have shaped not only the way I work, but also the way I approach life.
Why I Created This Space
I started Simply Life with Jules because I wanted a place to share the things I'm genuinely interested in and the things that make life feel a little better.
I'm not here because I have life perfectly figured out. Quite the opposite.
I'm constantly learning, changing, trying new things, creating routines, falling out of routines, setting goals, changing those goals, and figuring out what actually works for me.
And I think that's the fun of it.
For me, living well isn't about having a perfectly curated life. It's about being intentional with the life you already have. It's about finding routines that support you, taking care of your body and mind, making time for the people you love, pursuing things that excite you, and learning to appreciate the ordinary days just as much as the big ones.
This blog is my place to share that journey.
Here you'll find everything from travel and organization to fitness, food, wellness, mindset, books, fashion, faith, and all of the little things I'm loving along the way.
Think of it as a mix of inspiration, practical tips, personal reflections, and a little bit of real life.
What I Believe
I believe a good life doesn't have to be complicated.
I believe organization should create freedom, not pressure. Having routines and systems in place can give you more space to enjoy the things that matter most.
I believe growth doesn't mean constantly feeling like you're not enough. You can want more for yourself while still appreciating who you are today.
I believe taking care of yourself is important, but wellness doesn't have to look perfect. Sometimes it's a workout and a nutritious meal, and sometimes it's baking something you love and enjoying it with the people around you.
I believe experiences are worth investing in. Traveling somewhere new, trying something you've never done before, making memories with the people you love, and stepping outside your comfort zone are some of the things that make life feel bigger.
I believe faith keeps me grounded and reminds me that I don't have to have every part of my life figured out.
And most importantly, I believe that a positive mindset can change the way you experience your life. It doesn't mean pretending everything is perfect. It means choosing to look for the good, learning from the hard moments, and believing there is always something to be grateful for.
A Few Things About Me
Because the best way to get to know someone isn't through their résumé.
A place I love:
Italy. I could happily spend a very long time eating my way and drinking spritzes through the country.
Something I never get tired of:
Running and working out. Movement feels like therapy to me, both physically and mentally.
Something you'll usually find nearby:
A book, especially something about mindset, personal growth, or becoming a better version of yourself.
A recent passion:
Baking. Especially sourdough chocolate chip cookies! There is something about making something from scratch that I find so relaxing and rewarding.
My creative outlet:
Painting. I love having something creative that has nothing to do with productivity.
Something that always excites me:
Traveling somewhere new and experiencing a different place, culture, or way of life.
My ideal Sunday:
A slow morning, church, spending time with my husband, meal prepping for the week, and having a little time to reset and get organized.
Something I'm always working on:
Finding the balance between wanting to grow and remembering to enjoy where I am right now.
Something people might not guess about me:
As much as I love sharing and creating online, I actually really enjoy being behind the scenes, organizing, planning, solving problems, and making things happen quietly in the background.
What I'm Working Toward
I'm building a life and career that allow me to use the things I'm naturally good at while making room for the things I genuinely love.
I want to keep learning. I want to create. I want to help people. I want to travel. I want to build meaningful relationships. I want to take care of my health and make time for the people I love. I want to build businesses and projects that I'm proud of while still having time to enjoy the life I'm working so hard to create.
And I don't think those things have to compete with each other.
That's something I'm figuring out as I go. How to build a life that is ambitious but not all-consuming, organized but not rigid, healthy but still fun, and intentional without losing the spontaneity that makes life exciting.
Thanks for Being Here
Whether you've found me because you're looking for a new recipe, planning your next adventure, trying to get more organized, looking for motivation to move your body, searching for your next book, wanting a little inspiration, or simply figuring out your own version of a meaningful life, I'm so glad you're here.
I hope this space gives you something useful, something inspiring, or maybe just a little reminder to slow down and appreciate where you are.
Life doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.
Here's to making the most of it, one day, one habit, one adventure, and one little moment at a time.
Thanks so much for being here ☺
xoxo, Jules
